The Marathon is interesting, seems to be a fair number of runners, but all along the route there were hardly any large crowds of folks out watching, even at the finish line... Seemed like fewer vendors, too?

Deserted... compared to last year...

I was out yesterday shopping at the open market, and it seemed like a decent crowd, and even a wait at one popular breakfast place. So it wasn't as bad as the empty aisles on Wednesday at Trader Joe's. But then, I just saw that Cal Tech has just cancelled 10 events and conferences over the next month.

It's a slow travel time of the year anyhow, but I wonder what the PeMS data on traffic counts are looking like, year over year, especially the L factors for weekend freeway counts? This crisis is turning out to be an interesting "travel behavior" "experiment", as well as an interesting logistics problem... The transit data for this quarter ought to be interesting, as well.
