I totally agree with you BOB2. Heard this reported on more than one news outlet today. We already have an affordable, somewhat fast and frequent rail service called Amtrak. Can you imagine the improvements that could have been made to the system in California with just a portion of whats been spent on the "Browndoggle" ? How about service to the east side of the valley ( Old Porterville Sub ). This was studied a few years ago. How easily could that have been rebuilt for commuter rail service for a fraction of the cost of this mess ! I say cut the losses now and end this taxpayer nightmare. No one in Sacramento is going to change anything until we change Sacramento and purge the snakepit !! Good luck with that...
