I remember my Sunday School Teacher in December of 1976 saying to all of us at church that the USA had died. Jimmy Carter was going to destroy the USA. Now, as a die hard liberal, I've got to admit something... it turned out she was right about one thing. President Carter turned out to be a really poor president. He was anti Amtrak. He blew so many things I can't even go into them... but you know what? America is a great country and we survived.

And now, 32 years later, we just surived eight years of the right's worst. Yes, eight years of your guys' absolute worst.

Now Obama is untried. He may be another Kennedy and Clinton (which will be great, and you guys will say he sucked anway... even though the economy goes up - I know that) or he may be terrible like Carter and you guys will rightfully say so... just like the guys on my side trash talk W almost as much as we trash talk Reagan.

But either way... this is great freakin country and we will all be here in 2013. No matter what my Sunday School teacher said, or any of you think. I happen to be rooting for a bright future.
