Your take on Elon is similar to mine. Thanks for sharing.

I assumed he was the "other billionaire blowing smoke" you were referring to and I know you're an Elon critic but didn't know why.

His constant Red Pilling of the American public. The fact that he treats local and state government bureaus and officials exactly like they should and deserve to be treated: with contempt and indifference to their abuse of power.
I love that he refuses to be shamed or controlled by people who have no real interest in what he's doing and should stay the hell out his way. I admire his sense of wonder about the universe and the nature of man and consiousness. His general lack of greed (relatively speaking). Calling Wall Street's bluff and stating publicly that Tesla's stock was overvalued.
What he's done with Tesla is nothing short of astounding. He singlehandedly got the public to not just accept but embrace electric cars. Open-sourcing Tesla's engineering and tech is as rare as a responsible corporation and it's proof he puts his money where his mouth is.
SpaceX is reinvigorating the hunger for space exploration I'm told this country used to have. My youngest son is obsessed with trains and space. Men like Elon are good, intellectual role models for young boys and men. He's making America competitive in space at at a time when we've ceded ground to Russia and China.
Starlink will open the internet to anyone on the planet, anywhere, anytime preventing tyrannical governments from censoring or throttling internet access.
Neuralink's abilities, potential and risks are too numerous to mention here.
I guess you could say Elon Musk is my favorite African American.
