Poor Mouse.... The vast conspiracy....

It will be interesting to see where this goes. I've always said the biggest mistake made i
Obama and Pelosi in the 2009 stimulus for the "Great Recession" was the failure to pass Jim Oberstar's proposed renewal of the TEA, which was already five years overdue...

It would have been great to properly fund infrastructure to create needed jobs back then, as part of that recovery plan... Unfortunately, Barbara Boxer was Senate Transportation Chair, and was, as usual, clueless, and with her refusal to move the proposed bill in the Senate, Nancy allowed useless clueless Babs to have her way...

Now, with our dilapidated roads and bridges 10 years older and falling down even faster, and twice the unemployment rate....maybe it might be better to put a few people back to work spending money on stuff that actually needs doing... As opposed to borrowing vast amounts of money from our grandchildren's future to run these enormous deficits, to give public money out to these "poor" suffering corporations in exchange for campaign donations, or just sending out these woefully insufficient stimulus checks to try and by those folks votes...?
