He's doing this as California plans to close yet another nuclear plant. Of course once it's all solar & wind, rates will continue to rise as California has to import power from outside the state. Much of it being from Coal fired plants while California Politicians will rave about their "Green Economy." Instead of Electric Cars, which many Californians won't be able afford, it will push many towards Mass Transit (A feature or a bug?)

Business that cannot afford an exorbitant or unreliable power supplies will be forced to leave and may or may not ask their employees to follow. You can almost bet that any companies that were still planning on expanding in California, those plans will probably went on hold until they can figure out what's reallygoing on.

In the end, Democrats will once again blame businesses for profiting from the multiple mistakes they're making. You can't vote to change the laws of Economics.
