Haggin is where the WP crossed under the SP then climbed to the top of the levee to cross the American River (bridge at left). The Sacramento Northern and Central California Traction reached Haggin via SP trackage rights, SN from West Sacramento and CCT from Polk. This made for a four-way interchange location. The large Blue Diamond almond processing plant would be behind the photographer, with the SP main out of sight to the right.
