CCT connected with the SP at Polk and the WP and Sacarmento Northern at Sacramento downtown until around 1965 when new freeways were built and then CCt had trackage rights on the SP to Haggin yard and interchange with WP and SN.

My comment about the port being very secure came from the fact that with new federal regulations it is hard to come out and railfan the CCt at the Port, in past years the Port Ploice were railfan friendly and would check ID at the gates and then call the CCT office for an ok for a railfan to take pictures but due to these new regulations they can no longer do this. CCT has always been railfan friendly.
