Where is Tuscon?

Interesting concept to run Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. But why would Rocky Mountaineer's luxury service bother with Tucson? Modest scenery of half suburbs and half desert floor with distant mountains and a parallel freeway. Nearly all customers would fly into Phoenix. Mostly wealthy tourists from the Orient and maybe Europe.
