Re: Where is Tuscon?

Thanks for the comments. I followed the slightly convoluted trail of links in the news story and found the actual web site for the service. They have a range of packages, starting with just the ride to Moab (with a bus transfer to downtown Moab, and to a hotel in Moab if using a better package) through several steps to a 6 day+ arrangement starting or ending in SLC and Vegas, either siteseeing by charter bus or driving with a rental car as part of the package.

As for a hypothetical Grand Canyon run, I agree that starting in Phoenix is better than Tuscon. While Tuscon has an international airport, PHX is by far the better-served. The only thing a Tuscon endpoint would get is potential transfers off the Sunset; I agree that it's unlikely to be worthwhile. We'll see how they do with round 1 before getting hopes (and bank accounts) up for another one.
