Induced demand is not an end-all, be-all fact. I-90 in eastern Washington is not gridlocked 24/7/365 with 200 mile long backups from Cle Elum to Coeur d'Alene. I-84 in eastern Oregon isn't crawling at 5 MPH from Troutdale to Ontario. And even the existing Cascades Portland-Seattle, pre-COVID, was hardly "full" - so where's the "Induced Demand"?
The only thing bogus, is believing "Induced Demand" is an absolute black or white fact.
