Sooo... the Viaduct will fall down in a major earthquake, just like the Embarcardero Freeway and Cypress St. structures did in 1989. AND... the viaduct is built on fill & the rubble of burnt out buildings( from the Seattle fire of 1889), just like the Embarcadero & Cypress. AND... the viaduct was built to almost identical specs, and at the same time, as the 2 Bay Area structures. AND... the viaduct is an eyesore & blocks the harbor views from nearby buildings.
SEE, Seattle has more in common with California than you thought !!! I personally am praying for an earthquake, A BIG ONE... That would solve one problem; two if Chris, Greg, & Ron Sims are all flattened in the viaduct collapse... :)
