There seems to be one guy still promoting light rail in Aspen. Too late, really, the rail r/w they bought for it is now a bicycle trail. Examples:

Then, the BRT people seem to have the upper hand now:

Aspen, not Vail. Though there once was a rail line into Vail, too.

A ski train on a long, roundabout run from Denver at 25 mph? Doesn't make much sense, really.
