I did a little figuring, That pipeline moves 2.5 million barrels per day/24 hours. A barrel is 42 US gallons. Typical tank car holds 22,000 gallons or say 525 barrels. 4,760 rail tankers would carry the 2.5 million barrels per day. That would be 47.6 say 48 100-car trains per day or 2 trains per hour being both off loaded and loaded. Off load rate of 3.3 cars per minute. No way to off load 1 car that fast esp. if it's light sweet crude oil. Like mentioned above the infrastructure for that would be massive!
