UP style rail: In the lighter weights, 100 lbs and under, UP rail uses a wrap around angle bar that also goes under the base of the rail rather than just being in the web portion of the rail. This provides better support at the joint making a more stable joint and much less likely to break than the original angle bars used on NP and GN rail 115 lbs and under. UP rail has a taller web than its NP and GN counterparts as well.
