Muni would have to go to turf war with BART-MTC-SPUR which wants 5'6" on Geary.

Muni can not even get trolley buses on Geary, proposed for decades.

If you were to extend the Stubway to the Wharf you would want to ramp up to the surface and utilize Kirkland Yard for some car storage.

If I were to build light rail on Geary I would go all the way to what was Playland and extend south thru GG Park along the original #7 alignment and connect to the N. You could put N cars in service from a rebuilt and enlarged Presidio Yard-Geary Carhouse.
