If there is a 10 car train, the operator has only a few seconds upon departure to observe the platform before having to duck inside or risk decapitation. If this woman was toward the rear end of the train, it could easily be missed.
Unlike so many of you manly men, I’m not afraid to go to San Francisco and ride BART, so I don’t have to speculate from my armchair in my protected world.
