It's interesting that no one has answered the question if CAHSR catenary height will clear double stack and automotive excess height freights... In places like the Peninsula, you might get away with it, but let's think about the same situation if you try to electrify Metrolink on some shared track into LAUPT where you have double stacks to worry about..
In India, they solved this with a JUMBO pantograph, yet they still fail to adopt well cars and have high center of gravity double stack containers on a regular flatcar...
Ideas?
