John, these machines moved around a lot. There was another reshuffling after the Modoc
quit steam in early '56. I recognize a few engine numbers from there on the Coast and
Western Divisions later. 4233 was assigned to the Coast Division as of June 30, 1956
along with sisters 4161, 4162, 4175, 4176, 4181, 4184, 4193, 4201, 4202, 4211, 4215,
4224, 4236, 4242, 4243, 4244, 4247, 4248, 4252, 4262, 4263, 4275, 4278, 4280, 4281,
4283 and 4292. 4233 was still on the Coast Division, although doubtfully used, into 1957.
