I do not have all the details about the EWG situation but the state had to have a reason for this to happen. There are many contracts in place and the state is not ignorant enough to open themselves up to a lawsuit they would lose. I don't know all the reasons why the EWG and WSDOT are having their problems. But I do know that besides some red tape WSDOT has been great to work with. There has been a learning curve with them but I do not see a lack of committment from their side of the equation. I would much rather work with WSDOT in charge of the line than with a bank or a customer owned branch. Comparing this to trying to make ends meet on the BGCM, where at the end of the month we had bank payments to make, working up here with the state is like a breath of fresh air.
