Curious. Did you go to the website? Leaving Grand Junction, there was maybe 20, 30 people at most. I remember the Station agent saying that every car Rio Grande owned was on that train. (apart from the business car)So, I ran up to the west of the platform. Guys were pull'n out hoses on the left side, fella was getting ready with his blue flag on a long stick. Had B&W in the camera with a polarizer filter. I was thinking what would Richard or Ted do at this moment? So I did a sequence of shots as it came into the station and when it stopped in front of me, the last shot, all the elements came together. Click.
When things got developed, evrything was looking great of the sequence shot until that last photo.... hung my head, the guy with the blue flag.. got the top half of his shoe, shake my head. No way to get THAT shot again as the was the last frame on the roll.... What do we say now... Gutted, LOL!
