Only the village idiot wouldn't already know what they are doing! And if anyone didn't already know - it is highly unlikely that a mere meeting is going to help them understand the plain English of it.
So why not have meeting after meeting - until we find why no work gets done. And where did you get the notion that the public (a tiny unelected minority actually) has the right to micromanage every single detail of a public project already approved by elected legislators. Though you apparently forgot, or perhaps you just don't like it; the USA and all its States are representative governments - we elect legislatures to decide, and they then hire contractors or direct employees to figure out the details. The public itself doesn't directly decide anything - NEVER DID! - Not even in 1789.
If the public as a whole doesn't like something - the only remedy available is to vote 'em out - period. But the public hasn't voted anyone out of office in Caliphonyia for decades.
Now - Just in case you don't actually know what they are doing - They are going to repair some freakin track and then run some freakin trains - simple as that! Is that really too simplistic for elitist enlightened minds to comprehend!
Oh! and if we are all luckier than we deserve, maybe they will manage to facilitate some actual wealth building human industry in the North Coast while they are at it.
Now why can't we simply allow them to get on with it. Or is it actually the trains themselves you oppose - or the potential for wealth building industry? Then why don't you just move to Syberia ! Where there ain't no trains! - and no man made industry at all (just frozen birds) - and no prosperity either! But if that's the way you want to live. . . . .
