My Jewish father and mother spent their earliest years in Hamburg in Berlin in the 1930s. Because of Nazi persecution of Jews, their families escaped to other nations. Those who did not leave Germany in time were denied rights, forced out of jobs, prohibited from going to school,, had their stores, homes and synagogues vandalized and destroyed. Eventually, they were forced into concentration camps where they were murdered.

Currently, in the US, the majority of governors are Republicans (most of whom are very conservative), the majority of state legislatures are Republican (most of which are very conservative) and conservative Republicans continue to exert significant control of Congress.

To claim that "Conservative Republicans are treated like Jews in 1930s Germany" is totally absurd and trivializes the real suffering of Jews in Germany at the time.


There are plenty of books about this. Go to a local public library or order some books from a book dealer or watch documentaries about the topic and educate yourself.
