In the same (very general) area, Tacoma still has a little park to watch trains at N. Carr st and N 31st st. No fences, and more importantly - no bums/drug dealers/hookers/hooligans.....

One place I think is gone is the Castle Rock area directly South of the Toutle River. Last time I was visited, there was a lot of people riding dirt bikes across the tracks. I liked the place, but swore to a friend that by the next time we come to this place, a big fence will be installed.

Question. Was the Interbay Project (model railroad club, now dissolved) located in the building that was torn down directly behind that Locomotive facility?
