Prefers Semaphores to Metaphors

It seems that when it comes to railroads, Trump fans and hard-right media only use trains as metaphors. For example, during the 2020 presidential campaign, there were references to the "Trump Train," but it was Biden who used an actual train for his campaign. I really think trains have been and continue to be too pedestrian for Trump.

I have yet to read any support for increased investment in passenger rail from any nationally prominent conservatives or hard right media.

However, thanks to "blankie," I am aware of hard right commentary which uses railroads as a metaphor.
