AB5 is the least of their problems. As California is banning ICE engines those truckers are unlikely to afford EV Tractors.

More likely when the CP-KCS merger goes through stuff will start getting routed to ports in Mexico & husked north that way. Any other traffic will go via the Panama Canal to Corpus Cristi, Houston or even Savannah.

Stick a fork in California because it’s toast.
