Bureaucrats never solve problems & stop. They’re constantly on the lookout for new crises to solve in order to justify their jobs & budgets.

The BAC testing they want built into every car is an example of a poorly thought out regulation that will negatively affect most drivers. Hoping in you car for a quick run to the store? Sorry your car has to run a BAC check first. Maybe your the designated driver for your group. Car won’t start as it smells alcohol in the car. More punishing the majority of law abiding people for a few others.
Yes i know drunk drivers are a problem. I was rear ended by one who blew .237 fours hours after she hit me. Maybe stiffer penalties for first time offenders. Up here in Wisconsin it takes several incidents before you see a jail cell. Punishing everyone isn’t an answer.
