As long as the population of the planet continues to increase, things look pretty bleak. All of these conservation efforts and drives for "clean energy" will, at best, just buy us a little time. While the birthrates in places like Japan and Italy have dropped significantly, there are other places on the globe where people are reproducing like rabbits. Maybe there's some validity to the theory that people like Bill Gates, Vladimir Putin and Jeff Bezos WANT a nuclear armageddon because that will bring the world population back down to manageable levels. They won't have to worry, not with their bunkers being as luxurious as their yachts.
Time to find religion and recognize our mortality. All the Liberal Leftist Loonies and Democrats choose, instead, to freak out over climate change because most of them are atheists. Their only "religion" is dressing up like a Kling-On for Comic Con in San Diego.
Suggested viewing (see link below). Listen real carefully to the part where they talk about the herd of elephants in the room and how we're setting ourselves up for a fall of unimaginable proportions because our population and consumption have gone off the scale just within the last 200 years. Burning trees to make electricity will buy us some time until all the trees are gone. We're replacing oil consumption with tree consumption.
So just chill, smoke a doobie and have some sex with the one you love. Enjoy what's left of the ride. Whatever happens, happens. Whatever doesn't happen, doesn't happen.
