Yeah, they have all of that, and people are still idiots.
Look at how many go through traffic lights.
Drivers are morons, texting, trolling train sites like Nancy, or trying to pick up the spilled fries, putting on their make up, or even getting.... all while driving. You have lived until you've spent all day counting carpoolers and a freeway bridge... And those morons literally kill at least 10,000 people every year, in crosswalks, head on's, driving off of the cliff..
I've been broadsided in an SD-7 stopped in the middle of the street in broad daylight by someone who was watching a different channel.
It only totaled the car, left a giant brown spot on the front seat, and fortunately only left a about a 9 inches a half an inch deep dent in our fuel tank.
From a public relations perspective and full information legal liability standpoint Brightline has done and is doing what it needs, including fully documenting all failures on the part of the motorist's to follow the law at the crossing with front view train, and many crossing based camera's.
Everything Brightline is doing is absolutely necessary, as part of these tests is to look for mistakes, systemic patters of motorist failures, to review the train footage, and reports to fix problem's, before they are lawsuits.
