Back in the Dark Ages, I commuted on the Chicago El. Risky, even back then. Now, no way for me. For the later generations, my stop was Argyle and Sometimes Wilson. The movie “Blues Brothers” gives a hint of where I grew up. Oh, and the CTA bus was less safe, even back then. I chose to drive now and enjoy many memories of those rail adventures from the safety of my Tacoma.Sad, for sure.
