So do the turn signals automatically work, or does the operator have to switch them on? What happens when the track curves left and the turn signal says right? Does that really confuse the motorists?

Also, putting turn signals on LRV is a great idea assuming that motorists actually [i]LOOK[i] at them. It's bad enough that most motorists ignore traffic lights, stop signs, other drivers, that needle pointing to E on the fuel gauge. I'm sure most don't even notice those flashing lights on the back of the trains.
