Also in the case of the DDA40X, the Engine(s) are a different model, 16-645E3A (as was the SD45X;20-645E3A 4200hp). Top RPM was 950 vs 900 regular 645E3.

The Centennials were my favourite model, obsessed over them during my teenage years, hoping to get to the States to see them in action "one day" only to find them in storage at Yermo in October '82. Was johnny on the spot in 2009 catching the 6936 arriving at Portola and there again in 2012, supurb luck I must say, the UP crew made my day, say no more, wink, wink. :)
