Hard to say. A lot would depend on the price of gasoline and if the airlines are having a fare war.

So that means nothing will happen other than maybe another study being conducted a few years from now. Just one more study so a consultant can pay college tuition for his kid. The Consultant Industrial Complex strikes again.

BTW, This article and study doesn't have anything to do with the Yakima Valley Transportation / UP / trolley operation.

Just because the word "Yakima" is used doesn't necessarily mean all the traction/pipe organ fruits should start sporting wood.
