I actually LIKE driving Big Truck around Puget Sound during this week. Very little traffic on the highways; Schools & Colleges are closed; Boeing is largely closed, except for Facilities maintenance; and this year at least the weather was not an issue. I just stayed away from the shopping malls and SeaTac Airport except for a quick Hit & Run trip to pick up the returning wife on Tuesday evening.
The biggest issue I've had is dealing with C - Card Longshore employees at the Ports of Seattle / Tacoma. The A & B - Card Longshore have already taken the rest of the year off, leaving Port drivers at the mercy of ingate clerks who are not used to dealing with Port Truckers, or daylight hours. BUT - With only 4 - day work weeks & early quits, I can deal with it.
