Maybe a little premature to put too lofty of expectations on these first 6 trains.
Screaming up Tehachapi Pass could be 30 years off, a period that is near their life
expectancy. They might be of use for Pacheco but even then they could be
relegated to non-express service. The 2:40 required speeds will only exist
when phase 1 is entirely completed.
