We know how this story will end.
(1.) The road will be widened.
(2.) The railroad will be abandoned and ripped up.
Isn't that how it always goes? MAYBE the rail line will be turned into a trail because the rails-to-trails people have a lot more political clout than the people (both of them) who want the line preserved for trains and speeders.
