“The commission will hold a public hearing 10:30 a.m. Thursday in which planners will share an overview of the newly released Preliminary Purpose and Need Statement for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail Project.”
“The statement and subsequent request for public input is the first milestone for the project, which proposes a 22-mile passenger rail system from Pajaro in North Monterey County to Natural Bridges in Santa Cruz as well as 12 miles of the coastal rail trail between Rio Del Mar and the Pajaro region and the Capitola Trestle.”
The article has a link to a web meeting and open house.
