I’m listening in.

Some skepticism being expressed by people on the SCCRTC and by the public about rail.

Lots of emotional arguments… ‘rail provides equity and solves climate change.’ “No emissions trains!” Lol. These people have no concept of economic decision making.

LMAO...

I'm not at all surprised that lot's of folks use or fall for all kinds of emotion laden rhetoric, spewed with conviction about such things, as is also the case with this kind of entirerly "fact free" and logic "lite" kind of internet meme on AP...

Given the state of math education today, lot's of folks haven't acquired great skills sets to have much of a "concept of economic decision making"...

But you do, right?

It is a fact that there are ZEV rail transit vehicles. And some kinds of rail passenger services do provide transportation with significantly less greenhouse emissions per mile of travel. And you have shown no ecoconic arguments of any kind, nor any data, or any polling to support your assertion about all of these "people" you claim to be representing... Who apparently voted by a substantial majority to reject the emotional nonsense being hyped by the "anti rail" fringe..

Listening to negative commentary about the abilities of others, while posting falacious generalized assertions to convince us of the alternative case, as a basis for purportedly "better decisionmaking", is also a pretty poor concept..

Of course, this is just "some skepticism being expressed" about the reasoning and logic behind comments like this one....
