Sad but also preventable. So much crime is committed by repeat offenders that should have been locked up. Including violent crime. They aren't locked up because radical Dem politicians ran on releasing crooks and not prosecuting most. Change those policies and crime drops again. This is the kind of common sense you advocate for in transit. Why not also crime? I mean I get it. Being a Democrat means never having to admit you were wrong. And maybe you never supported these radicals. Why not speak out against them now? Crime and fear of crime are second only to changing work routines as the biggest cause of lower ridership.
