The Desert Wind and Pioneer should be restored, ideally with through car service for Portland exchanged at Salt Lake. Now, no one is going to ride all the way from L.A. to Portland via that routing, but people might ride Las Vegas to Boise or from the I.E. to eastern Idaho.
