In fact Metrolink is looking to buy more units and the question of what those units would be is not answered.

The other problem with the F125 is the monocoque carbody and other parts are made by Vossloh which was sold to a Chinese company I guess. So it's not clear if they could even build an F125

Of course, they do have the 710 running on DEF now and hitting T4 and the 1010J is pretty well worked out.
Neither of those is likely a candidate for at 4 axle loco though.
