In theory they could.
It would be a 3000HP 12-710 though.

And the weight with that cowl would likely not be ideal.

That's why I suggested it would need to be 6 axle so they could fit the V16 and required gear.


As for Battery, I wonder if EMD would bid on some form of Joule Passenger version? Again, they only do it on 6 axle units right now as you really just want more batteries.
