I picked up some 1" X 2"'s at Menards. They were marked "Product of New Zealand." Says a lot when you can ship lumber halfway around the world cheaper than sourcing it domestically. The Greenies that pushed shuttering so many lumber mills in the US never considered the secondary effects.
