Surprised that we import lumber from New Zealand. It must cost $10K per container on a ship.

An American working class living on $18 - $20/hour is longer viable. Even in Eastern Oregon or rural Montana. So we let New Zealanders do the work. That is nuts.

I guess the mills in SE Washington on the Camas Prairie will never come back?
