Just for fun, saw someplace that a few "LA Olympics" events will occur as far away as Oklahoma City. Wonder if the airline miles for that will count toward the LA Olympics' GHG bill?

Then, of course, some will be in Las Vegas, too. Hopefully Brightline West (and, more critically, Metrolink and buses to connect with their trains) is up to the task.

Hopefully the athletes and viewers don't croak in the 115F (real in Vegas, effective in OK City with humidity and random thunderstorms/tornado warnings) temps (it *is* in the summertime).
