It does definitely help to read.
But you also don't hear much from LACMTA any more about "28 by 28" which had this on the list as late as 2023. Much of that is in tatters as suddenly "new", low performing, purely "political" projects like the SOFI "trough" became a funding "priority" at the LACMTA. Imagine high performing projects, years in the pipeline are pushed aside to spend 1.25 billion per mile on a 1.6 mile "people mover" to haul a purported, highly questionable, and whopping 400 or so riders per day?
Now, the money being squandered on many of these completely wasteful and mostly under used and poor performing dedicated "bus lanes", I guess that these will have to add up to the "28" projects by "28"...
Now, if the LACMTA can only cut more actual operating bus and rail "services" just a wee bit more, to reduce frequency and increase the wait times enough, they can probably still get these recovering ridership transit numbers back down to some of those mid Covid levels, once again...
