60Yep, this will follow the segment of the former PE to the UP Harbor line, and down the Harbor line to the PE West Santa Ana branch right of way, then on to Bellflower and ending at Artesia, by the I-605. So, until the OC Trolly finally builds its way North to the Orange County Line, it's not likely to happen. OC is a different County with different players, different politics, and different priorities.

The blockage by the geriatric 90-year-old Mayor of Stanton years ago, many years ago, blocked that, and no one in OC has really had much of a reason to revisit it since.

I was at those meetings where the "nimby" hoards were mobilized to a fevered pitch long ago in Stanton by this raging "Ahab" in pursuit of killing the "evil" whale that was the "evil" train.

And I also go to watch Mayor Brucee of Cerritos "rail" about only "Maglev" with only one stop in Cerritos should be the preferred alternative, for years and years, finally successfully blocking the current project from serving Cerritos, out of spite.

You are promoting things like common sense and common purpose for the public good, in a rational well-reasoned and thoughtful manner. Unfortunately, many of our poorest decisions come about as a result of the actions of people who have a more selfish, self-serving, ignorant, and/or just petty and/or corrupt set of agendas they are pursuing.
