The photos were taken with a Canon 40D using a Canon 17-55 mm EF-S wide angle lens on most shots other then the zoomed image at Lahaska which employed a Canon 70-200 mm lens with tripod. As for post processing, due to the time of the year and the resulting issues with high sun angles (on some of the photos) I went into Photoshop and lasso'd just the engine, feathered the selection and used a slight amount of shadow recovery - think of it as a more technical way to "dodge" the dark engine.
