In addition to its steam runs, the NH&I has also operated special trains that operate all the way to the SEPTA station at Warminster, where riders could connect to and from commuter EMUs on the R2 Line into Philadelphia.

The backshop at New Hope was once the home of former C&O 4-8-4 #614, which is currently stored on the Reading & Northern at Port Clinton, Pa., about a 90-minute drive northwest of there. Still in the backshop is a former Nacionales de Mexico QR-1 4-8-4.
