By 1964, the old syndicated series "Death Valley Days" was being hosted by a former "B" movie actor by the of Reagan. One episode was filmed at Jamestown on the Sierra with the premise of the young deputy chaining the locomotive to the track in order to collect back taxes owed by the railroad. In the photo, the blonde is Pat Priest, later of the Munsters, and to her left is Roy Barcroft. I don't know who the younger guy was. In the end the railroad pays up and everyone is all happy with everybody else.
Filmed at Jamestown, September 1964 (or possibly 65, the slides bear no date stamp).
